We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Snowbird Transportation Systems Ltd, based in Hamilton, Ontario.
Snowbird has been a family operated business in Hamilton for 40 years. They have been serving customers in the Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area, Niagara area and Southwestern Ontario. Louisa McAlpine, a second generation owner-operator with deep expertise in LTL and clients in the South Western Ontario market will stay on as General Manager of Snowbird.
This acquisition provides an exceptional opportunity for both Snowbird and Minimax to expand and better serve our existing clients and develop new business in that service area. Snowbird clients will now have access to the Minimax expanded service area of Eastern Ontario and the province of Quebec. Minimax will benefit from Snowbird’s expertise in South Western Ontario.
